Two campaigns cannot have overlapping sets of page targets and date/time ranges. If there is a conflict with another campaign, you will not be able to save the campaign, and the Targeting & Campaign Details toolboxes will have alerts shown in red:
To resolve the conflict, click into either the Targeting toolbox or Campaign Details toolbox. Any contexts that conflict with other campaigns will be highlighted in red. If it's not already expanded, click a conflict to expand it and view its details.
In the below example, we see that this "Dresses" campaign's collection_handle of "dresses" is conflicting with the campaign "Women's Dresses", which also has the same page target of collection_handle "dresses". There is a link to the conflicting campaign, "Women's Dresses", so you can view it separately to compare if necessary.
There are various ways to resolve a campaign:
- Change the target: Modify the campaign by clicking the "+ Add Page" button and selecting a different search query or filter.
- Change the schedule: Go to the Campaign Details toolbox to change the schedule to something outside of the other campaign's date range.
- Delete the other campaign: Open the campaign you want to delete in the editor, scroll to the bottom of the Campaign Details panel, and click "Delete Campaign".
- Remove the conflicting page: If there are multiple pages set up, use the red minus sign at the right of the conflicting page set to remove it.
