Use this form to create and customize your data sources. On this page, you will manage your data sources (feeds) and grant control over what is synced and when.
Note: Because modifying the configurations on this form can affect your Athos functionality, once a source has been connected and indexed, only Athos admins can change the connector type.
Field Discovery
Click the "Scan now" link to perform a scan of your data to discover any newly introduced fields.
Field Discovery (Skip Extract)
Click the "Scan now" link to perform a scan of your currently active data to discover any newly introduced fields.
Add New +
Click the "Add New +" button to add a new data source. A new window will appear, "Add a Data Source", which allows you to select where the data will come from.
Options for data sources include the following:
- Shopify
- Big Commerce
- CSV
- JSON
- XML
- Adobe Commerce
- Supplemental Feed
In this example, we'll select "Supplemental". A new window will appear with fields for you to populate for the product filter.
Edit Product Filter
Provide additional information as required.
Filter Script
This section displays the filter script; modify it as needed.
In another example, we'll choose Shopify. A new window will appear and ask you to configure additional details of this connection.
Admin Only:
Admin Settings
These settings will appear at the top of the page for admins who have the permissions to see them.
Feed Type
Click the drop-down menu to select the feed type. Options include the following:
- Blog Articles
- Product Catalog
- Collections
- Pages
Page Size
Type in the number to represent the feed size; the maximum size allowed is 250.
Convert Metafields List Values
Click (enable) this checkbox to convert metafields list values.
Minimum Sync Percentage
Type in the minimum sync percentage. This value can be 0-100.
Store Settings
Use this section to view and manage store-level information and access.
Shopify Domain
This field displays the domain of the Shopify admin.
API Version
Click the drop-down menu to select which version of the API you are using.
Additional Data Access
Access to additional scopes may be required based on the latest versions of Shopify's API to ensure you are able to leverage all of Athos' features. Additional scopes are required to support downloads of Metaobjects and MediaImages. Click the "Grant Access" button to determine if your elevated permissions are set.
Web Pixel Tracking
Additional scopes required to leverage all of Athos' features based on the latest versions of Shopify's API have been granted. Click the "Enable Tracking" button to allow tracking of the connector.
Product Settings
Use this section to configure which products to include during data sync.
Publication
Click the drop-down menu to determine which publications to use:
- All publications
- Online Store (# active products)
- Point of Sale (# active products)
Include Draft Products
Click (enable) this checkbox to include draft products.
Exclude Out of Stock Products
Click (enable) this checkbox to exclude out-of-stock products.
Exclude Out of Stock Variants
Click (enable) this checkbox to exclude out-of-stock variants.
Data Attribute Settings
Use this section to configure which data attributes to include during data sync.
Use Translations
Click (enable) this checkbox to fetch translations.
Include Metafields
Click (enable) this checkbox to include metafields.
Include Variant Metafields
Click (enable) this checkbox to include variant metafields.
Note: As this information is configured, the system will provide a summary of how this configuration will affect data sync time. In this example, the system displays the message, "Low impact on data sync time".
Inventory Quantity Based on Location(s)
Click (enable) this checkbox to use location contexts for inventory quantities.
Data Sync Schedule
In this section, configure how often data syncs run to keep your catalog up to date.
Interval
Click the drop-down menu to select an interval for synchronization. Options include never, hourly, daily, and weekly intervals.
Time of Day
Click the drop-down menu to select the time of day to sync. Options include "Automatic" and then any quarter of any hour of the day.
